Is this pose from the comics? I love the sculpt but the pose seems a little weird. How did Joker get on the roof in a straightjacket? And how much of a threat is he to Batman with his arms pinned?
I know it's picky, but it just bothers me a little.
Well done DC. You are showing promise.
Now...how about a Superman vs. Shazam (like the Kingdom Come pose...each one about to deliver a right fist to the face.

The pose is the pose the way theyre standing not where theyre standing. The subject matter which is the funny fact that they are on the rooftop and joker is still in a jacket: if that. I’m not sure what the base is supposed to represent, that’s being kind of picky I’m not too bothered with that, but yeah it kind of is confusing.
Joker can always pose a threat to batman, allot of the time he's threatening him he’s in a straight jacket or being held down and he's got a bomb somewhere or someone being held ransom. In the upcoming movie there is going to be a a section of the movie were joker is in arkham talking to batman it’s probably a foreshadow of what’s to come. If you notice he's also breaking free of the straightjacket

I've studied the raw sculpt for this piece and let me tell you, these pics do it no justice. It's one of the finest sculptures I've ever seen, really unbelievable. Worth EVERY penny.
Jonathan Matthews is one of the best (if not THE best) sculptors working today, and also one of the most under-recognized. You've most definitely seen a great deal of his work before.... Recall the most well sculpted action figures DC has put out and chances are most of them are Jon's. He's unbelievable.

Has he done anything we've seen before?
Paquet did the best Joker statue out there today. Have any of you seen it? Boy, when he is on his game, there are very few sculpters out there who can match his sheer passion for the craft. His Swamp Thing and Sandman bookends remain among my all time faves too.

I agree 100% on both parts.
