I was thinking the same thing but decided to pull the trigger anyway. I can live without Rodimus and Galvatron. I figure if I have Optimus and UM, Megatron and Soundwave, that's pretty well rounded to me.

no significance that I'm aware of.
I think this was kind of made to order, since he was before people were really aware of what IA were doing here. He was also overshadowed by Soundwave.
I grabbed him day one. Really like him. He will go great with Rodimus, just like Cyclonus will go great with Galvatron.

Hopefully they smash out Hound, Shockwave, Bumblebee, Jazz, Prowl, Ratchet, Thundercracker, etc

I had a buddy call this Magnus hot garbage...he's wrong. I think it was just an irrational distaste for Magnus. I think I will get Magnus and Optimus. The 2 will look great together!
