I don't dislike it. It looks like it's trying to convey the idea of the way his core might probably twist with the implied pose.
I would seriously consider buying this if it were a normal looking Spidey. I don't have much love for the Iron Spidey suit.

Base is so small and hardly noticeable, not sure why you guys are so turned off by it. Blends well into the bust also.

It just throws off the overall look of the bust imo. I love the OG SS busts where they just have the chest of the character and not an awkward spiral portion.

Not in panic mode, by any means, but I am a bit concerned for the 2 more expensive pieces I have ordered...
The color looks washed out. It is way lighter than the movie and prototype photos.
Also the base looks cheap. Plastic. 
Still an awesome piece, but I hope their $$$$ items are flawless...

I don’t see any problems with it, that metallic paint will look very different depending on the lighting conditions I definitely wouldn’t say it’s way lighter than the film. Base looks fine also, I mean it’s Matt black paint so it is what it is.
