Don't believe the hype, especially from Sony.

They're like the fast food of TV's. Even if I were to buy an LCD I wouldn't buy a Sony. So many companies have passed Sony over the years especially in the TV game it's not even funny. LG a re-launched brand (used to be Goldstar) that's only a few years old under the LG name and they already passed Sony bang for your buck wise and quality. I do notice LG getting cute with their prices lately – I think they’re getting a bit ****y.

You're not kidding. I had a top of the line Sony Wega with all Sony components (receiver, DVD, CD Player) and you talk about a bunch of non-integrated junk.. except for the TV of course!

I'd never buy a Sony product again. Unless they bring back the Walkman!

I'd go for the plasma too. Just make sure you buy the warranty for it. I don't have a plasma but I do have an hdtv and let me tell you, my tv just got totally frakked up before a year was out and I'm getting a new one within the next week. Much cheaper than having to buy a new one let me tell yah!

Nah man, I use my comp for porn, not my tv. I asked the tech guy and he said the only way I could have caused my tv to go bad is if I had dropped it to the ground. He said otherwise, it just went bad. He was talking about the shutter mask or something along those lines. I dunno, I couldn't understand him.

Yes, the most brilliant picture I've ever seen for a 300 lb. 27" TV.

Seriously though, that was the last really good TV they had and it still wasn't better than Panasonics tube TV's.
