Just saw Alexandra Daddario in the recent episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Based on her looks and screen presence she could be considered for Wonder Woman. Her height being 5' 8" could be a nitpick for some, but remember Lynda Carter was only 5' 9 1/2" tall.

Lynda Carter at 5' 9 1/2" was probably way over average in her time. Now, that height is like average women's fashion model / tennis player.

For the role of WW, the actress has to hit some basic physical characteristics for me;

1. Height: 5'7 minimum. While films can be shot in such a way as to make an actor seem taller, I think WW should be around 6 foot (1.8m) in height.

2. Athletic background/ build: former sports or dance experience would be a big plus. She wouldn't have to do her own stunts as much as look as if she could.

3. Age: 20-30 years of age. Any older and she'll likely start to show signs of age by the second or third film. So unless they go for a mortal version of the character it would not work.

Of the multitude of names thrown about for the part, the one that "physically" works the best for me is Serinda Swan.

Good choice T. She looks the part. Eyes need to be blue but that's an easy fix.

Early pictures from the Victoria's Secret fashion show are out. I've always thought that Hilary Rhoda was close to Wonder Woman. Now, I think she could pull it off. She's basically 6'. With modest heels she'll be in the 6'1" to 6'3" range. She's athletic and it looks like she toned up even more for this show. Every physical trait is checked. She seems pretty cool in this short "what's in your bag" piece:

She could be the next strong model to actress like Tricia Helfer with a few acting classes.

Bridget Regan, who played Kahlan Amnell in the "Legend of the Seeker" series would make a pretty good WW. She's got the look, and the athletic skills to go with them (some of the best fight scenes in the show were of her whoopin' ass with her knives) She also has the acting chops to lend to the role. Her portrayal of Kahlan was the most grounded on the show, and the only thing that kept it from being overly Xena-esque. I think she should be under serious consideration.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The girl who played in Underworld Rise of the Lycans should play Wonderwoman.
