congrats on the purchase but...

I can't really say I love this one. I really wish they went with a different pose (despite it being a signature pose)...I just don't feel it translated well to the statue

I'm really not feeling the paint job on the face either. Came out too flat looking.

I've ordered the Rocafort Supes and it'll be my first piece in this line but so far the Metallic line isn't really impressing me with the choice of poses and paint jobs

also...it looks like your right shoulder has a gap or something in it? Maybe its just a weird shadow though?

it's just bad lighting on the face. as for the shoulder, that's actually the stitching on the costume. Really done a good job on this with detail IMO

But maybe I'm biased I buy anything this guy does even if it's just a cover - withing reasonable price!

I do however think that this won't do as well as the Batman B&W line. while B&W spun off a comic book, this is spinning of the B&W line and a play on words.

I can't think of many artists I would buy a Mos statue of. A few come to mind: Bolland, Cooke, Timm, Sale, Infantino, Frank plus Max Fleischer

Also, I like to see Alex Ross' KC supes, Mark Millars Red Son Supes, Cyborg Supes and Ultraman,

The only signature pose for Quitely I can think of is having Supes sitting on a cloud. I am not a huge Quitely fan but appreciate his work (or a fan of All-Star Superman in general) however this one looked great in person when I saw it at my LCS.

Dude, looks like the factory messed up and got black paint on Superman's right leg. Return it! (Joking aside, it must be difficult to autograph a 3-dimensional object!)

I think this statue came out great and I'm looking forward to mine arriving at some point.

maybe this is one of those pieces I have to see to appreciate as these pics are not really giving me a great impressions (as Joy mentioned though, it is likely the lighting)

and I'm with you Matches, Quitely isn't my favourite although I appreciate what he did. All-Star Supes isn't a favourite of mine either despite how much everyone raves about it being one of the best Supes stories of all time

I'm not sure that's stitching, looks more like they didn't get his right arm aligned with his shoulder...
