Boy am I glad I didn't get this; that close-up looks abysmal. When I got into this hobby I was in full impulse buy mode and this was one of the the statues I wanted along with x-23; luckily I got out of the mindset fast, partly because of the prices and partly because I knew what will happen from my other hobbies so I only have 1 regret purchase so far.

This one's not far off either.

The sad thing is that I'd argue it's one of their best prototypes. But production wise was a very different story sadly. Probably not the worst collectible ever made, but certainly an embarrassing and fairly shocking one when you factor in the massive price tag....

Another mention would be the Sideshow Scar Predator mask. That thing was an atrocity. one tone silver paint, with flakes, scratches, brush strokes and several large human hairs embedded in the paint. And to top it off, they used paper lenses... PAPER! They did make up for that aspect with the following Celtic and Chopper bios however when they didn't even bother with the lenses at all, just painted them the same colour as the rest of the mask.... Dark days.

The Predator (and Alien) license really does deserve a bit more love and attention already.
