Erick, if you're reading these posts, I'm wondering if you can provide insight into the casting... In particular, will the arms be cast separate from the torso? The detail in the costume will be impossible to match during assembly, and I fear that seams will be visible. Any insight would be very appreciated.
We will add some small "fabric " seams somitnworks.
Or we may just cats the whole torso minus hands and
Head.

Thanks Erick, for the post. I vote for full torso and arms casting, so there's no fussing around, and it'll look exactly as you have sculpted it. Really looking forward to this one! It's an outstanding sculpt!

I second the full torso and arms casting idea.

Is the Alex Ross Superman a pre-order or is it ready to ship?

Pre-order. Castings have yet to be done. I can defer any knowledge of shipping to Erick, however I have heard March on other forums. This guy is going to be awesome.

Just in case some of you don't look at SS Freaks, here are some mock-ups a friend of mine did in Photoshop. I'm loving both color schemes, but will probably stick with the Kingdom Come colors on mine...

Love the mock-ups. Kingdom Come for me as well.

With KC Superman, (a potential) Captain Marvel... and Power Girl from SS... I was thinking about a Justice Society line-up. It's a shame the kits didn't sell. I'd have been pulling for a Jay Garrick Flash, Alan Scott Green Lantern, and some of the next gen crew from the 90s like Liberty Belle, Hourman, Stargirl. Throw in Dr. Fate, Hawkman... man, maybe it's just me. The Justice League was always the "sexier" of the two, but damn if I didn't love JSA back then.

Sadly, I think Captain Marvel was nixed due to poor sales with KC Superman. People spend quite a bit on unlicensed statues and here are kits that are (a) licensed (b) reasonably priced and (c) awesome! It's a little leg work to find a reliable painter to assemble/colorize, but I didn't think it would be that big an obstacle.

My biggest loss is Sosa's Batman tho.

Okay, Captain Marvel is really close too. 1A and 1B.

Hi guys, I extended the PO until end of February.
Then we are of to printing in March, and casting around April.
Thanks! And yeah we still have the license but doubt we will produce anything else, sales are being eaten up by private commissions.
Thanks again, band stay tuned for a huge prepainted announcement in a few days.
Flying off to Europe for this one.
