Shouldn't those of us who are genuinely interested in this character be more concerned with getting the highest quality collectible, vs worrying about if PCS will finally take the initiative and regulate QC. In all honesty, we want the same thing. Yet very few of us ask.

It's already been done

If we are discussing Dhalsim's face paint then I couldn't disagree more.

GG Cap:

The entire shield is painted, also check the stripes on his costume...simply a work of art

Clean lines, painted not stickered it's really nothing new

I doubt it'll peel. My main gripe w/ the stickers PCS uses is that they are glossy. So on Guile they look like a stickers on a statue. Rather than a tattoo.

The shield is flat and a stencil has obviously been used. The Spidey stuff is sculpted. Neither example is the same.

So you're saying that, PCS can't sculpt the lines on Dhalsim's face and then paint em?

They could but I don't think that would be an improvement over what has been done. It can be seen on Venom's back. Free-handing symmetrical, even lines is very tricky and even the slightest offsets are obvious. Even more so with straight lines like those on Dhalsim's head.

For me, the way the paint contours the sculpt gives the statue more character. Rather than placing a sticker and losing those details.

Couldn't agree more. The stickers look good on screen but in the real world, they will stand out.
