I was not referring to you, Vecchio. I apologize if my intentions weren’t clear. I was only making fun at the purpose of this thread. As if this was a new development that requires some deep consideration.

Let’s bring this into focus. For starters, the movie has been in production a few years. The first teaser trailer was shown early this year. It has been heavily promoted through social media since. The concept was also very clear from the get go, and the primary target has always been a younger audience. Those who haven’t noticed, need to spend a little more time watching or reading the news, besides the political nonsense.

Now, I am not against people disliking the concept. Different folks, different strokes. However, believing that the movie is going to fail just because is not directed towards my age group (the old fart guard) is truly misguided. Success is not a byproduct of repetition.

This movie was fantastic.

They did it, somehow this works and it does so with flying colours. Animation is some of the best I've ever seen and this might be one of the best comic book movies ever simply cause it actually feels like you're watching an animated comic book. It also has some great writing to boot.

I think I’m in the Old Fart Guard that JP was talking about. I’ll see this, eventually, but mainly for SM Noir. Always loved that concept for SM.

Early word of mouth for this movie is that it’s great—except on this forum it seems.

It's definitely worth catching on the big screen, the visuals are next level.

The end credits scene in Venom had too much tumbling up, falling down etc... humor... not for me.

I've heard nothing but good things about this so far. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
