hobby stores have types of glue, like super glue but comes in different settings. Some are thicker glue, some thinner some dry in 5sec etc...
Then you can use a stuff called zip kicker (thanks to saul showing me this) and it dries the glue in a second. Prob can use it on superglue too.

I use 5minute epoxy with a spot or 2 of superglue to hold it in place while the epoxy dries. You can get it at any hardware store or walmart.
Just make sure you get the stuff for plastic.
I've tried the multipurpose epoxy and it doesn't hold as well with polystone or resins.

Heck!
That's genius, DP!
To mix superglue to hold it in place! BRILLIANT!
I was fixing my Maximus kit and I had to stand there holding it in place for 20 minutes (even though it says 5 minute epoxy)
Thanks!

LOL!
It doesn't always work, though. If the piece is too big I'll usually put rubberbands on it to hold the pieces together.
