JND Studios: Batman/ Christian Bale

Interesting - when this was first solicited it was as The Dark Knight, but now the videos all reference The Dark Knight Rises. I thought all along that the Bale portrait was more in line with the worn and grizzled Wayne version from the last installment. I don't know if that was their intention all along and was simply an oversight when it first went up for order or what, but it makes much more artistic sense now. In any event, I think it looks good.

Yep, their teaser videos were titled dark knight, not TDKR. I think they just changed it to match the look of an older Bruce more, due to everyone saying he looks too old

Bruce Wayne Christian Bale looks good. I need to see more angles of the Batman version as the angle they had in the video was unflattering IMO. I can't tell if the eyes are too large or the mouth is shaped oddly, but they really should have included a 360 degree rotation so we could get a nice close look at it.

#metoo - but I'm not sure I'm going to get it. Shipping and taxes are not to be ignored (which isn't JND's problem) - but overall, I'm just not excited by the piece at all......it's, well.....boring.

I know, nothing has changed since it was first released - but maybe I've changed, and now the thought of spending so much on a piece that really doesn't excite me.....no great.

No point buying something that you don't really love.

This is one of my last big pieces and probably my last from JND unless they do more from the Dark Knight Trilogy. I'm running into space issues and the price increases are just making it that much easier to leave this hobby.

Yes, these pieces are too expensive if you don't REALLY want it. Only bad thing is eating the NRD but I guess it is better than the whole price.

Looks nice. If this dual set was a little less expensive, I would have ordered it as it is a nice concept.
