If they are listening to forum feedback we will, but who knows, likely this new bat is selling very well and they could careless about making a new one anytime soon as this bat is not a bad sculpt by any means.

I predict SS will make a Batman statue that is “closer” to a comic version in about 2 1/2 to 3 years.

Sideshow has a pathological need to put a twist on most of the pieces they do. Either textures, costume seam lines, belts, buckles, etc. Sometimes that's good to add touches of realism, but most times it just disrupts the classic design to the point of turning into what has been known as Sideshowfication.
When a piece gets sideshowfied, it can be very bad...

I think its selling well but not up to their expection. I mean its Batman afterall. Hence, the explanation photos to explain the concept. So I at least think they know this wasn't a home run. I am pretty sure we will see another batman within a year. The question is whether it will be a good one.

Exactly. I wouldn't mind the added textures and seams to a degree, but to overly modify their classic costumes would be a turn off.

Batwoman pf was executed perfectly in this regard imo, adding textures and seams to her original costume.
