I wasn't insulting anyone, were all more or less nerds/geeks if were on these forums... I mean were collecting superhero statues from comic books. That doesn't exactly say "Macho Man"

I'm actually jealous of people who do have 1000 sq.ft. basements....

My issue is not having "tons" of statues, it's I had custom shelves made when I built my house and the max height is 33", unfortunately several of Prime 1 statues that I wold love to buy exceed that height and only because Prime 1 used really tall bases...

Maybe you like really tall bases, if so more power to you, my only suggestion to Prime 1 was to kept the base more reasonable in size...

It was literally a comic marketed as more extreme for adult readers, and people couldn't handle a batwang silhouette.

There goes my pubescent dream of seeing DC's version of Diana in the flesh.

Sorry man, I apologize for the assumption. I guess when I see those words on message boards I assume the worst in people but yes, you're right. We're all geeks here lol.

And I understand the concern with the gigantic bases, I do. I mean it is true at some point there are only so many statues you can display which have footprints such as some of these. In general I don't mind the huge bases/tall statues but I kind of look at it on a case by case basis.

So for example this statue in particular, funny thing is with me (and this isn't a statue I'd buy either way) but I actually think the base is the coolest part of it. Harley looks fine and all but that base is just awesome.

But then when I look at something like the Hush Superman I'm fine with the height and I have space for the base, but the thing I don't like about the base is that it's really big/wide and it isn't really anything "unique" to Superman. It's just some angels and a stone base so it doesn't really add anything great/unique to the statue and it takes up a lot of space. When it add something unique to the character, I think it's good. But in the case of Superman those angels just don't do much other than add real estate, and I guess weight support lol.

I was hoping they would remove that massive stone Joker head from the base.
