I am really hoping this gets a wide theatrical release this year and an eventual quick DVD release, especially for the international fans (like myself) who won't get to watch it on the big screen. Though there might be screening in UK, Australia and few other international countries.

I just love the trailers for this movie, especially the new one.

Director Patrick Read Johnson's semi-autobiographical movie is made with such love and dedication, it shows throughout the trailer .

One of my favourite lines from the trailer, "For everybody else movies are something to do when you're tired of real life, to you real life is something to do when you're tired of watching movies". There are times when I feel the same way about myself .

No real updates. Just bumping this thread.

Looking forward to the documentary Hearts of Dorkness which may get released this year. Hopefully 5-25-77 is not far behind.

Yeah the delay is ridiculous. Also originally the movie was supposed to get released in 2007 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. In 2009 Patrick decided to rename it to just '77, thankfully in the next couple of years he reverted back to the original title which bears more significance.
