I agree with Augen, I do think that anyone can have a space in the market but I definitely think Randy will always have a spot.
I do hope when he comes back that he can pick up from where he left off or he can strike a deal with Marvel similar to one that Tweeterhead has with DC dealing with classic characters mainly. There are still some characters that Randy said he wanted to sculpt but never got to that would need to finish my collection.

But just a general question in do you think there's a spot for Randy in the current market still?
With so many companies doing so many things, lots of people having the same licenses & the same scales, people wanting over the top details, large dynamic pieces etc...
What's it going to take for RB to come back and make an impact again?

Maybe he can work as a sculptor for hire for Diamond? They're making 1/7-scale Marvel statues that would scale well with the ones from his company.

I think there is definitely a place for Bowen again in this market especially as 1:4 & 1:5 prices will continue to rise in 2019.
We have have XM, Tweeterhead and now Oniri doing 1:6/1:7 DC statues now so I'm sure 1:6/1:7 Marvel statues will be sought after also.

I've mentioned before 2 main reasons why I doubt he will come back to any similar business model.
1. Increase in demand and costs of production
2. Increased competition for talent. A lot of Bowen, the company's, most popular releases were not sculpted by him.
He left for reasons other than his divorce as given. Too much pressure for how he was used to doing business.

Well that sucks if its true. Bowen statues had a certain unique appeal to them.
I, for one, would love to see him come back. Even as an Art Director, maybe. Just so that he can help correct these proportion issues, anatomy issues and posing issues we keep seeing.

I would love to see some 1/4 scale Bowen pieces. I'm surprised he hasn't come back yet. He must have crazy money to be away from his job for this long. Unless he has some other income.

Makes you wonder just how much profit there used to be in the statue game.

All I’ll say is I live close to RB and he’s done quite well for himself. How much he retained after the divorce, I have no idea.
