Urgent question: protection paper
Does the protection paper used by Sideshow (and other companies) to cover statue has a name?
Would like to buy some.

I agree, the paper is irritating because it rips.
I like to get some micofiber, the smooth kind, and replace all the paper SS uses.

Agreed with both above.
Originally I just bought tissue/wrapping/packing paper. After getting my first P1 piece, as seeing their satin-like cloth, I think I am going to go to a craft store as see if I can buy yards of a similar cloth to add to all my other pieces.

After having some SS pieces just come in the clear plastic bags, I just use those. I got a couple of XM pieces recently and it was IMPOSSIBLE to try and rewrap everything up right and the paper kept ripping, so I just put them in the plastic bags that also came with them.

It's just tissue paper but if you want better protection you're better off with a soft paper towel or some kind of thin microfiber or satin cloth like others have said. However it's more expensive as tissue paper is cheap.
