Other than to perhaps buy some artwork and get some sketches in my book, I don't think I bought an actual comic book at a convention in 20 years. I may pop in for signatures, if a really cool opportunity like this one comes up. However, nowadays, this is pretty my daughter's thing. We total soak in her youthful exuberance. She absolutely loves ComicCon. Next year, we'll start taking my 4 year old son, which should be interesting as he's quite the introvert (nothing like his Diva sister!).
There were lots of comics, shirts, and statues and whatnot. There was something for everyone. Most places were selling hardcovers at 50% off.
