And I'm had to get up a half hour early today. The girls from work are picking me up for the Shareholder's meeting. God, I'm going to have to fake so much company spirit! (I'm not that type of peson normally.)

My Iron Man Hulbuster should be getting here today... I didn't order this one when it first came out, but after it had sold out decided I wanted it, called Virginia at Bowen to see if there were any left. She kept my name in case someone back out, and they did, and I got it.

Actually, malkii, one thing I noticed when watching LWW was that the movie was -very- true to the book, only taking a small amount of license with the opening and ending. The whole movie was like my childhood imagination while reading the books thrown up onto the screen. I understand Caspian also follows the book quite closely.

Whoever told you they differed greatly isn't doing you any favors telling you lies. Do yourself a favor, and read the books.

Make sure you read them in the order I posted earlier! DO NOT READ THEM in the chronological order, which how they're currently published. If you do, you'll lose all the magic and revelation that Lewis intended.

It's not what I mean, it's what I -know-. Academics and scholars of Lewis' work say that the books were written in a very specific way, and to read them for the first time in any other configuration totally screws up the story. Ask any real dyed-in-the-wool Narnia fan, and they'll say the same thing.

I will NEVER apologize for being adamantly stubborn on this. The books were written, and should be read, in the order they were for a reason.

And we get all the MBs, so I know we'll be getting a Hulkbuster. It's Cloak & Dagger, The Beaubier Twins, and Marrina that have me excited this phase!
