Thanks, guys!
...Now, because I have no self control, I checked eBay for any damaged listings and I actually found a non-exclusive teal version at a great price! (One of her bracelets has some light damage, but nothing too severe.)
Now, the question is which of these two I should use as a coloring guideline for her:
I love the idea of doing a true "Ariel" style Mermaid, but the ginger+pink would be an amazing visual standout among my other three.

Lol your addicted to these mermaids man, congrats though. A classic ariel paint up would look dope.

Seems like you enjoy the "Ariel" colors. Maybe go that route.

I do (darn childhood nostalgia), but I think the argument that there are other Ariel statues out there is a really strong one... Pink-tailed mermaids: Not so much, you know?

Kinda sad to see only caucasian mermaids in Campbells drawing. I'd love to see how the sculpt would react to a dark skinned mermaid;
with a black and/or gold tail. Think it could be a nice combination

I'd love to see a dark skinned mermaid, black or deep brown hair and a yellow tail, that would be stunning too. So many beautiful potential colour combos.
