Congrats, gagaliya. I agreed. The finish of Sano's Alien sculpt is up there. The rear leg issue seems to be more and more common but it doesn't bother me at all since it actually makes mine looks better~

Congrats gagaliya, seems the greasy finger print nameplate is another common thing on this also I got mine off with a microfiber cloth and some careful polishing!

Just curious as to why everyone places the arm flaps in different positions? Is it because they are the only posable piece on ED?

They are armored shoulder covers and shouldn't touch, but they should be just above the shoulder when in full on combat mode.

Put you flaps down guys.....

Also the brakes on the sides of the legs should be parallel with the leg tower, again, pull your flaps in guys...

They do flair slightly, but not as crazy as I've seen them posed on some of our Eds.... No FLAP malfunctions!

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

i tried putting the should flap just above the arm but it would just fall down touching the arm -which will leave a mark if left there long term, that's why i moved it up more so it locks in place and doesn't fall down.

Over all happy with the quality, i think it's near the level of the sano alien, which is my barometer for measuring perfection.
Congrats man! I know you sold your old Pax, would love to see your new setup.

Disappointed

Paul,

I love what you guys are trying to bring to collectors.
Replicas from original pieces.

But I said it before and I'll say it again:
The quality gets lost in China!

Even though you ?check? the item in Texas and sign the box to prove it is checked I still got my Cain with lose parts rolling inside the torso.

NOW AGAIN the box is ?checked? in Texas and this is how I get my ED-209???

For this kind of money payed literally over a year ago IN FULL I got to say: disappointed is how I feel....

Please see my pictures and tell me this is a 1K+ item...

The wires are too short to bend under the sign, the piston... and the rubber is damaged (unless this is how it was on the original puppet) and as you can see the head tilt is extreem in mine, more than I've seen in any other picture. The left arm is 1mm from the left leg and yes it's assembled the right way...
