DC Universe Streaming Service

Still no idea how much it will cost or when it will go live, though if Titans plans on premiering this year then I'm guessing the service will need to be live to do that.

Here's an article on The Verge for those of you who know nothing about this.

Looks like the Following Shows will be on the service:
Titans - Live Action Show
Swampthing - Live action Show
Young Justice: Outsiders - Animated Show
Harley Quinn - Animated Show

For now that's it but deep in my heart of hearts I hope they bring Back Constantine, I mean how perfect would that show be on a streaming service?

As for the other shows already announced nothing is really known, except for some Set Pics from Titans, which unfortunately looks pretty terrible.

Yes but it's just the first season not continuing episodes.

And legends of Tomorrow isn't that great, I'd prefer his own show. The first Season was great.

The limited activity in this thread is likely indicative of what the popularity of this service will be. I strongly think that they should have partnered with Netflix once Disney announced its departure. Huge established user base that you could exclusively get your IP in front of.

Every company wants to be in the streaming business.... Sucks because that will force people to subscribe to multiple services, if most of them would just use Netflix it would make things better for the customer...

We already have Hulu, Netflix, CBS, Amazon and soon Disney... I guess all the studios will want to give it a shot but I imagine a lot of them will fail... Customers are not going to want to subscribe to 5-10 streaming services...

DC would have to create a ton of content to get people to subscribe....

I follow only four TV shows, and I watch them as they're broadcast live or the following day on their official websites. I personally would not get my money's worth subscribing to any streaming services or even basic cable. I don't even care for Amazon Prime, no matter how many features they add.

I agree, I imagine they may end up putting all the Back seasons that are on CW Seed on this service as well as all the DC WB Films. Even with that though it's not likely to be as large as Netflix or even What Disney will probably be able to bring since their content is so varied.

I think it would have been a better idea to create a WB Entertainment Service with a DC section, at least then they might have enough content to warrant it.
