PS4 v PS3
I am not a big gamer but I was wondering the difference. I have a PS3 but plan to buy a PS4 down the line. The question I had was that some games being sold now coem for PS3 and PS4. The PS3 version is cheaper - which should I buy? Does it matter?

Buy Ps3,The change is minimal at best.I have left "the last of us" to experience to next gen though.

no new games out to warrant PS4 as of now. i give it another year or so before PS4 is really getting games out that the mass want to play.
Still to much on old ten consoles that still is viable and doesn't cost as much.

unless there is one specific non-last gen title that you want to play then I'd hold off on upgrading right now.
I purchased a PS4 because a) I don't have a PS3 (360 only last gen) and b) I know that FF XIV will last me into late fall/early winter easily until more titles start coming out.

i was looking at games like Amazing Spider Man 2, Transformers and Batman Archknight?

If they are games for both systems, the only difference you will be getting will be visual updates...no gameplay changes.
If the "game" if what you want, you should be fine on the PS3 version.
If you want the latest and greatest in visuals, go for the 4 version.
Any of these games that come on both systems, can be boiled down to a port from one to the other.

Batman is the only game you will need a ps4 to play. ( on your list ) But since it comes out in The fall, you have plenty of time to wait. Some Games on the ps3 are also $10 cheaper then the ps4 versions.
