Although not as charming as the first, it certainly takes you down the obligatory darker path and is very compelling. Great flick.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - 10 /10
One of the movies that I was looking forward to in the summer and I am glad I did not walk out disappointed. This is better than the first one. I will definitely be seeing this is again.

Planet of the Apes 2 - 9.5/10. Amazing movie. Better than the first and the first one was really good. I can't think of a moment in this where I zoned out or was bored. Highly recommended.

Need for Speed - Guilty pleasure, and a lot less chessy that I anticipated. 8/10

This movie is definitely not for small children due to the graphic violence. However, mature older kids and teenagers can watch it safely. My family loved it.

Los Olvidados (1950) - A group of juvenile delinquents live a violent and crime-filled life in the festering slums of Mexico City, and the morals of young Pedro are gradually corrupted and destroyed by the others.
Sometimes when I watch classic films, my mind can wander and I'll check my watch, but that wasn't the case here. I found the story to be remarkably contemporary, particularly a line spoken near the end which I immediately thought, "I hear that all the time today." Amazing. 9/10

Most people think Beneath the Planet of the Apes wasn't as good as the first.

Transcendence - 6.5/10
Interesting scifi flick with some nifty ideas.
However, it seemed to lack some punch in a number of areas, especially the end.
