I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

Absolute Books.

Any one here have any stories that they would like to see get DC's Absolute treatment? I'd like to see Snyders owl run and geoff johns Aquaman get some sort of treatment down the line.

I rather they focus on older stuff like Preacher and Morrison's Animal Man or Moore's Swamp Thing. Heck even ONeil and Adam's Green Arrow/Green Lantern.

Is anyone other than me finding that these big bulky heavy books are a challenge to read? While it's great to see 30 classic issues collected in an omnibus, by the time you read a few issues, it starts to feel like there's a bag of bricks on your chest. I much prefer a slipcase which includes three normal sized books or something like that.

I agree 100%.
Although I don't own any Absolute Editions, I have The Walking Dead Compendium 1 and it's a pain (literally) to read.
Thick and heavy with the art printed to close to the spine/center makes for a difficult read.

The GA/GL run was already collected in a slipcase edition quite a few years ago, but it just wasn't labelled as "absolute".

In your lap, they suck to read, but I find if I'm sitting at a table with the book in front of me on the table, and a nice small batch bourbon within easy reach, all you gotta do is turn pages. No problemo.

More like the size of a Masterworks, I'd say.
