To be fair sideshow blizzard pieces are all fairly well done too, just like all star wars pieces are also overall high quality. I think because those license are much more strict on quality so sideshow is using their good factories.
Marvel seem to always get the worst factories, it's a lottery what the final production version looks like.

Here's what I was wondering though..... was Blizzard just using sideshow as a distributor/consultant but still making the older statues themselves? Or for some reason is Blizzard going to make statues but still let sideshow do their own thing with the license?

The way I see it, SS doesn't have any Blizzard's licenses.

the description has changed and it no longer says "out of stock"
"Our first production run of Tracer is sold out. We are working on the next batch - we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to own this legendary statue. "

Thank God. I will not be making the mistake of skipping her this time.

Good for them. They were vague about the limit to begin with. It still sucks that they couldn't post that long ago and fueled the flippers on eBay. Still I wonder with eBay's 60 days return policy how many sellers will get return requests. As good as the statue is, it's not worth the crazy $600+ and more people are paying.

U would think it would be a different type of collectible. Weird to me that p1 has a blizzard license when blizzard are already making their own statues.

I agree it's weird... maybe giant 1:3 only to prime 1? I hope Blizzard sticks with this current scale....
