Webkinz, Do people never learn?

With all the people who shelled out big money on Beanie Babies that are now sitting in their basements and attics totally devoid of any value, why would anyone start doing it again?

lol i was just thinking the same thing, i bet it will.
about webkinz-my lil cuz was hounding me to get him some. so i went to the toystore in my neighborhood and asked around. the guy who ive known my whole life said they will be in soon but he cant even hold them for me. so i go back that day and there is a line around the block. i say that im going to get a frying pan, this store sells everything, and they let me in. i go to the frying pan area and there are 3 webkinz hiding behind the pan. so i get them .i give two to my cuz and sold one to a lady on line for 225.00 lol. i did not feel any remorse for fleecing her. these people are crazy they were trying to tackle me as i left the store. i never bought the damn frying pan though lol

Are Beanie Babies really worth next to nothing now? People were nuts about those a good while back.

A friend of my mother-in-law asked me to sell her collection of 175 beanies on eBay, I couldn't even get $50.00 for them.

Jeez. And those things were such the rage for a while! I wonder if I'll ever have trouble unloading my Sideshow Doom exclusive for $50.
