Calgary Con 2012 Haul

I was in Hawaii for a wedding last week and thought I was going to miss this Con for the first time in 4 years but managed to switch my return flight around to give me a 6 hour layover in Calgary, and with some help from an well-timed income tax return....managed to score some wicked Art.

Zombie from Nat Jones
http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...28&GSub=130091

Nat does awesome monster and zombie work and I figured it was time I got a piece from him. Love the detail and he is a great guy (fellow Canadian too)

Crossed by Jacen Burrows
http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...29&GSub=130091

I loved what Jacen did for Donny and Jason at ECCC and wanted a piece from him. He didn't have time to do a Punisher for me but he said I could have this one for $20. I really like his work and would love to get more from him in the future.

The Joker by Riley Rossmo
http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...30&GSub=130091

I will hit up Riley for a piece every chance I get. All I requested was The Joker and he came up with this crazy concept. I was blown away when I saw this, so awesome!! Riley is the Man!!

Juggernaut by Vince Sunico
http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...31&GSub=130091

Love Vince's work and he is one of my favorite guys to talk to at cons. He's doin a beast of a commish for me right now and showed me the pencils at the con...I can't wait. He killed the Juggernaut!

The Punisher by Whilce Portacio
http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...32&GSub=130091

Whilce has been on my wishlist for a while now. I was pumped to be able to get this from him in Calgary. When Jo showed it to me I was blown away....couldn't believe the level of Detail he put into this one, Incredible. Jo and Whilce are awesome!!!

I have one more major piece to post later...one of the best pieces in my collection IMO, but I promised the Artist that I would send him the scan before posting it so he could be the first to present it on his twitter page (apparently someone takes his images from CAF and posts them on their Twitter, not that he Cares but he just wants to be the first to show them off) Thanks everyone....I hope you enjoy these

Great Haul! Love that Juggernaut, and the Rossmo Joker. I'm still in the process of scanning my Calgary haul, and will post a thread on it later, don't want to hijack yours. It was a great show, aside from being massively overcrowded on Saturday. Look forward to seeing your big score!

Wow.. great pieces; congrats! Lovin' Juggs and the zombie.

Whilce's Punisher is amazing. It looks like he's holding either a riot shotgun or a modified grenade launcher.

I can't quite make out what's in his left hand, though.
