true, I can't believe how many times they have screwed up and the console isn't even out yet. They are really under-estimating Microsoft which is not a good thing to do.

At long last a real coop "single" player game. Meaning you can not only play deathmatch and team deathmatch and whatnot online, but you can go through the entire "single" player campaign with a buddy, online. Sure games like Halo and Timesplitters also made it possible to play through with a buddy but always in splitscreen, never like this over the internet each having an entire screen for yourself. Games like Splinter cell 3 had some (very cool) coop missions but these were extras, apart from the main game.

Also cool, you can join and leave a buddy's single player campaign mode at any time without him having to quit or load or anything.

I am very pleased that we'll be seeing more and more games like this - Army of two, Kane & Lynch...

This game looks amazing and its one of the reason I was excited to get a 360. I would've purchased the machine regardless but GOW is the game I'm looking forward to the most right now, well until Halo 3 anyway.

No kiddin'. This is long overdure IMO and one of the things thats going to make GOW so cool. I also like the emphasis placed on taking cover and being somewhat stealthy as opposed to just the run and gun style of gameplay.

You also get rewarded by taking your opponent(s) out in style. For example, when they're down you can take the time to stomp their head in. Plus you can stick grenades (including smoke grenedes) to players and there is even a gun that has a chainsaw attached to it. In other words this game is going to be incredibly violent.

Yeah the publishers call it "stop 'n pop" gameplay

The blurry effect given when you run again put's the emphasis on "stopping" behind cover and coming out for some "poppin'...it's so sweet. You can still shoot while running but like in real life you wont be able to aim as good.
