Wrecking Crew are tough. I beat them with Thor, Capt America, Wolverine and Iron Man (Main team alternating in Dr Strange,Johnny Storm and Storm when needed)
You need to just seperate them and kick their asses.

They were pretty easy to me... I use Iron Man, Thing, Iceman, Spider-Man. It's all about leveling up earlier...

Thanks I managed to get through them using the axes. It helps to level up your characters first and spend some money to increase their stats.
Right now Im about to go to Shiar for the crystal.

I use the team I mentioned earlier, plus I also go storm-colossus-wolverine-iceman, and for the Outer Space mission I'm going to go old school and use the Fantastic Four. Word...

I am trying to stick with my team I started out with Iron Man, Spidey, Iceman, and Thing... I will probably play it again once I am finished but, use the Fantastic four Exclusively...
