not exactly my LCS but I was vacationing in NYC 2 years ago and I picked up 2 FS Iron Man Helmets (normally $350 a pop) for $50 each. Flipped one on the bay later on for around $200 and kept the other.

At a NYC con I found a Mini Superman statue for $35 and sold it on eBay for $160...
Also found a Magdalena Full Size and a Bust for Retail and flipped both of those... Found an Electric Tiki Mighty Mouse Maquette out at WWChi for $25...

When I was traveling the country... I would find deals all the time... Bought a GG Vader and Yoda for 40.00 a piece when they were going for about 250 a piece on ebay... after he ran my credit card he said.. "your going to sell these huh..." and I said yeah... he asked me how much they were going for and I told him... he got really really mad... I signed the credit card receipt... and then as I took the busts from him and turned to walk out... he screamed.. "I never want to see you in here again!"

I went into an LCS last summer and found the following (first price is what I paid, second is what I flipped it for):

Obi-Wan GG maquette: $80 ---> $200
SS/W Orc Brute Statue $125 ---> $225
SS/W Bilbo Bust $50 ---> $155
SS/W Bilbo Bust $50 ---> $90

Total spent $305+tax ---> flipped for $670+shipping

That was a decent haul, but BY FAR my best flips have been stuff I ordered online.

My best flip ever is still my MR Luke ANH EE saber #6 that I bought for $525 shipped and flipped for $1,400 the day that I received it. That thing is probably worth like $650 now. The beauty of SW hype last summer.

My lcs owner gave me the Clay Moore Spider-Man for free. I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

Mine is a comic deal. I got my Uncanny #1 and Giant Size X-men #1 together for $300. At the time (and the condition they were in) they were worth about 800ish...

GG Clone wars Assaj and Obi Wan maquettes at a Comic shop in Yorkville, IL each for $15.00, thye didn't have the lightsaber blades but everything else was perfect, statue, box, coa.
I wrote GG to get replace blades and in a couple of weeks they sent me a blue one and two reds for free.
So I got both mint maquettes for $30.00
