A year and a half ago I scored a Yellow SW Clone Trooper bust for 29.95! That's probably 1 of my better scores from an actual shop.
Moore Creations used to do really cool specials at shows on stuff they wanted to get rid of. Cheap prices on busts and stuff like that. Online is a WAY different story.

I always get my statues at 10 percent over cost but the best one at my LCS was a FS Silver Surfer Chrome for $100.00. The store owner had just had a baby and was in a more than generous mood.
The best comic score was when I was on a trip to LA and picked up a Ghost Rider #1 (flaming demon not western) for $12.00 in FVF. Picked up a VF Hulk 181 at Wondercon about 6 years ago for $150.00. Tomb of Dracula #10 (1st Blade) in VF for $.25 at a garage sale...

my lcs owner was not paying his taxes. after the govt got ahold of him i walked with three boxes of comics. nearly ever issue of amazing spiderman 50 and up hulk 181 lots of other comics 145.00 .
hulk 181 was a $600 at the time. i sold them on ebay just last year for thousands.
i bought a lot of statues and got a cgc 9.0 tales of suspense 57 out of it.
