The Danbury Mint

We have a couple of C0ckatiels & an Amazon here at home...so when I came across this, I thought it was really cool & got it for my dad.

Done by Bob Guge, depicting a typical c0ckatiel, it looks absolutely beautiful & really lifelike in person. Made of cold-cast porcelein, it's ever so slightly smaller than lifesize, but we tend to think of it as a very young c0ckatiel.

They offer some really great sculptures of all kinds.

There is that. But they are beautiful and extremely intelligent animals. I've owned a Medium Sulfur Crested C0ckatoo along with a Yellow Nape and a nasty Conure I rescued from a neighborhood tree. My Yellow Collared Macaw took a real liking to my mother when we left it with her a few years ago during one of our vacations and I didn't have the heart to take her back. My folks are elderly and it keeps them great company.

Yeah...some birds can get really attached to a single person. But they are great pets. 'Tiels still rule ever the 'toos though.
