I just put in my preorder using 10% discount from pennies too!! I reckon that'll be a much cheaper option than ordering through PCS directly and dealing with import GST and international shipping costs (which I unfortunately will have to deal with for 1/3 scale Ryu cos I bought direct from PCS).

Yeah it will definitely be cheaper, even without the 10%. I'm surprised at that price. I was expecting $1600. I remember Akuma being $1500 and that statue had a lower rrp and our dollar was slightly better off.

I might just order these separately through a retailer. I did buy the Ryu Evolution set, but if every piece comes in 2-3 variants at this scale the display space is filling up faster than I'd like.

Can't really decide which variant to buy until they are in hand. Before shipping I'd have thought for sure I'd like Akuma best, but after having seen in-hand pics Shin seems to have turned out best, if it weren't for the kanji issue.

that new code you guys are talking is not been accepted in Germany, we all pay 19% tax + 5,5-6% customs fees on the total (statue price + Shipping)

and by the time this will be ready to ship, the shipping costs will not be lower than $150

Ouch you Germans seem to get a rough ride. Statues not delivered to your door and the new customs code ignored.

25% of the value on customs costs + shipping is pretty harsh

The eye's look good to me. Maybe the iris should have been larger.
The eye's could be destroyed, if the production pieces are painted by someone lacking the skills.
