Thoughts on big pics
I haven't seen anyone complain about it in a good while, but I was wondering what people thought about big pictures being posted. I like them because you can get a better look at the subjects. What do you guys think? Yay? Nay?
In other words: Are the pictures I usually post too big?
An example (I think this is too big):
Or is this size OK? I prefer this size:
Let me know because I'd hate to keep buggin' folks.

Bottom one for me, because when I'm at home it's over dial-up, so if it takes forever to load the pic, I pass on the thread. I did however, stick it out to see your framed pics!

Thanks, CB! I figured there would at least be some people still operating on dial-up and I knew that would be a problem with big pics. I'll reduce all my future pics to the size of the second one (I've got a 5.1 megapixel camera, so I have to reduce my pics by about 70 percent to get them to be the size of the Doom pic).
Anyway, this is good to know!

IMO, if you have to scroll around the screen to see the entire picture it's too big.

Dial-up? You live in Ashburn, VA. You are 3 minutes away from AOL and you still have dial-up?
A: Knock Knock
B: Who's there?
A: Waiter.
B: Waiter who?
A: Waiter week while I download a picture!
