Marc Silvestri

I haven't really built much as far as an art collection, but here is a Marc sketch I got at Wizard World Chicago. It is also on the wizard site from the VIP signing which I thought was cool too.

Wow, that's very nice. You don't see too many sketches from Silvestri. Nice pick up!

Silvestri offers commisions through his web site, but starting at $2k.

I'll be honest, I thought of it, he's posted some of his commisions and they are nice, real nice. But damn.

I don't know the website, it's just his full name, so space, .com (I really suck at spelling his name right...)

I went to his site to some months ago , I read his commission rates and saw some of his comissions . They look nice but not $2k nice !!! he's a great artist with a great style but i saw a Batman commission with a very simple background that just didn't justify the $2k .

$2K, that must be one of the most expensive prices for a commission, no doubt if Jim Lee were doing them they would be more. I like his work but would not spend quite so much.

Check out the link, tell me if it's worth the money.

It was part of the VIP wizard world chicago package I paid for. There were a bunch of comics and stuff included too. I paid 1k for the whole package which included many graded and signed comics too and the VIP meeting with Marc
