How do you rate the first Kingsman, for comparison?

I loved the first Kingsman, but hear that this second one is "too busy", so maybe I will wait....

Its my annual Horror movie month. Gonna try to see how may I can squeeze in between now and Halloween. First up...
The Cabin in the Woods - 8.5/10
An intelligent, well written gem that plays off the many cliches of the Horror genre. Unapologetically violent but full of well timed humor too. This film pulls you in a lot of unexpected directions making it a fresh and fun play on the traditional Horror film.

I agree with this assessment. Solid movie and Gal is awesome. I did not, however, buy into the "greatest achievement for women in film" rhetoric. Yes, it was a strong woman in a strong role, but nothing overwhelmingly above some of what's been done before. Sigourney's Ripley and Jolie's Lara Croft are but two among many who have achieved equal performances as leading women in very strong roles. Gal deserves full credit, but she is far from a first. Looking forward to seeing much more of her in this role.

Jeepers Creepers - 5/10
Decent Horror flick but filled with cliched characters making bad decisions and risking their safety unnecessarily. While there are some creepy elements surrounding the antagonist they're not fleshed out enough to make the film anything above average.
