I guess they wanted to replicate "Godzilla" without any copyright infringements. Notice how he is shooting out of his forehead instead of breathing energy bursts out of his mouth. Also that red stuff all over him is probably there just to make sure they don't get sued.

I see about those alterations. Out of his forehead looks very cool to me tho and that red stuff looks quite weird tho interesting. So this is a Godzilla unique to this video. Interesting!
That first girl is Atsuko (Maeda) and graduated (from the group) a couple of years ago this August and was (still is) very popular. Was voted the most popular in the group for 2 years. Probably around 20-21 when she did that MV.
They can be so cute but what really slays me is some of the members goofiness that goes along with everything else.

I can't believe it! My favorite singing group AKB48 did a music video of one of my fav songs of theirs with a special guest starring in the main role. I have several versions of them doing this song live but have never seen this video until today, at least I don't remember it. It is in the stars. I am destined to become a Godzilla fan and collector of figures.
