The whole X-Men geisha line is a cool concept.

It is..
Psylocke is as deep as i am prepared to go (..into the line).
I am not a big 'customs' collector. To date i own a total of three with a forth (X-23) on pre_order.

Sarah Connor T2 30th Anniversary EX Edition
1/3 Scale by Darkside Collectibles Studio
No. 047/250

Sarah Connor arrived today. I opened up the box to make sure there were no breakages, and took these shots using a Samsung S22 mobile phone.

What can i say? ..i love this piece!
From what i can tell, Darkside Collectibles Studios have used the same sort of semi-translucent resin as Prime 1 Studio uses for the skin areas.
The skin features texture and a very good paint app.

The paint detail on the belt looks impressive. The small metal holes look like metal. Super sharp paint work.

The name plate on the front (..and rear) are made from metal.

Being the EX, two portraits are included. The Linda Hamilton is there.

DCS included two pairs of shades.

The base looks fine. While the paint app looks fine, i sense in the hands of someone talented, it could be taken to another level. No real complaints from me.

There you have it, a mini review. My 1st DCS piece

-

PLEASE NOTE: The skin tone looks more suntanned in person than my photo's imply.

-

PLEASE NOTE: I forgot to add the cigarette.

GANTZ:O Anzu White Version
1/4 Scale by Prime 1 Studio
No. 419/500

My 1st statue of 2024
Anzu was picked up during the Prime 1 Studio 2023 Christmas sale.
The plan is to pair Anzu white version with Reika black version (pictured below).

Unlike Reika who shipped with various QC issues on the portrait and poor eye's decals (which i had to have fixed) Anzu arrived in perfect shape. The hair paint app looks better than that of Reika.

Gambit EX
Maquette by Sideshow Collectibles
No. -/2000

Finally i have added a Gambit to the collection
Condition: like new, no marks, no dust etc.

I must have been having a moment, as i was convinced Gambit had a soft jacket like the Sideshow Rogue.
On opening the box, seeing the fully sculpted coat was a bonus. I have always like this Rogue was more than the XM Studios Gambit.

The price was higher than the original $690.00 USD Sideshow Collectibles were asking but.. given the piece was located in the UK,
i did not have the usual 30% + handling charge to pay, and shipping was obviously very low,
probably five or six times lower than international shipping. All in all i got a good deal

To complete the Gambit, Rogue, Juggernaut line-up, i should look into picking up Cable

Street Fighter V - Chun-Li
1/4 Scale by Prime 1 Studio
No. 165/500

Chun-Li arrived today. From what i can tell, everything is on point. Flawless.
Paint looks sharp. Casting looks just as sharp.
Could this be the best Chun-Li statue ever made? ..quite possibly.

10/10 to Prime !

Note: I forgot to attached the two small hair pieces.
