The odd positioning could be explained by them both flying / hovering. Kind of an aerial dance. Will not know for sure until we see more.

Just realizing Gambit’s knees are bent. Apparently both of them. Mans is literally being swept off his feet… *frown and side eye of skepticism*. Someone slide a chair in real quick, he looks like he’s about to be seated.

Sideshow needs to stop playing so we can see the full thing.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Gambits knees bent-he is bracing himself for the powerful hug that Rogue is about to give. With her speed and power-I would want to make sure my feet were firmly planted to the ground too. That’s good realistic thinking.

Yea, not too sure what is going on with that lately......

I think back to:

Spider Woman PF
OG Black Canary PF
Purple Costumed Catwoman PF

then I look at the more recent PFs....

Psylocke on Pagoda
Power Girl

Even the new Dazzler.......

Not sure what has happened with Sideshow and their QCC Department (Quality Cake Control Department).... but it certainly seems that there has been some serious changes and 'pull back' on the "rear representation" of some of our favorite sculpted femme fatales......

Of course I am trying to be silly here and am kinda teasing.......

kinda.

But I would think that in the case of a character such as Rogue......her JLO inspired assets would be appropriately represented.

Not too sure that is the case here on this diorama.....

Maybe when more pics are released perhaps...???

It's probably Disney saying NO to female curves on every media they own. I get it to some extent but for such a niche hobby that is statue collecting, I believe they exaggerate.

It's not just Disney, most video games now are giving women a masculine/androgynous look, that's why the game Stellar Blade is regarded as so "controversial" becasue it actually has a very beautiful and curvy main character.
Thankfully Sideshow so far are not bending the knee to this woke madness and are still putting out very sexy and feminine sculpts for their own original IPs.
