How to repair a crack???

What's up guys,

One of my statues has a crack that goes all around the wrist. What would you recommened I use to rapair it?

I currently have two products, one is Aves epoxy sculpt and the other is a putty. Which do you recommened I use if any?

Hey AZ,

First you need to determine how severe the crack is. In many cases, I would "snap" the piece off. Then I would drill and pin the piece for added strength and epoxy into place. Then to repair the damaged crack, AVES is what I would use to blend the seam.

That's why Danno is Da Man!!

BUT.....

If the crack goes all the way around, but the part hasn't come off, there may be a wire armature in there. That may make the "snapping" part a bit difficult... If that's the case, and the part cannot be removed, I'd say try to squeeze a bit of epoxy or superglue into the crack, putty the gap with Aves, then paint to match. Just my two pennies.
