To keep price points, in my opinion stick to the character designs and limit the bases especially the size. If a statue bubble does happen, these will be easier to sell and stock for you overall and where collectors who have the addiction but not the funds will migrate too.

Watch the price points especially with all those licenses!
Just my 2 cents.

I agree totally. I just felt it would be fairer to compare this line to Filmation since it will be based on the G1 cartoon.

On one hand, I understand that you are only comparing filmation statues to the G1 statues. In your mind, it is fairer to compare animation statues to extrapolate what PCS may do. On the other hand, I look at it as a new statue line. PCS has shown that they will bail on a new statue line before they release the main hero and main villain.

With all due respect, I have reservations. If I thought this company would, at the very least, release both an Optimus Prime and Megatron statue, I would buy them both without hesitation. However, I got burned with the 1/4 mixed media He-Man and Battle-Cat set because I will not be able to get a matching mixed media Skeletor & Panthor set. I just do not want to buy an Optimus Prime without a Megatron. I got fooled once. I do not want to get fooled again.

Imaginarium Art first piece coming in at $400 (through BBTS) for Optimus. Beat this price point with a solid piece and you will sell. That is a nice piece though.

Yeah... IA won't fool people.

Maybe they've got their sh!t together now, but they screwed us a few times over in the past (look a their CS thread).

What pissed me off about their TF line was the changing of the Art Direction after Soundwave and Ultra Magnus to compete with XM Studios. They had a real good thing going with the classic look and then screwed the pooch. That's why I'm stuck with a SW and didn't bother with Magnus.

Originally, I had committed to buying the entire line with my 3rd Party Contact, but that was before IA pulled all those shenanigans.

I say speak with your dollars. I only have 1 thing on order with PCS and that is the 1/3 Mileena which I consider a big investment and hopefully not a risk. Using this as my benchmark if I continue to order or not. Hoping for the best but I still don't know when she might be coming. I heard that deliveries were being paced because of complaints of too much at once but if that's the case and this one gets pushed out further, I will still wait to buy anything. High hopes for PCS to get back on their feet with the engine humming.
