If they decided not to include that scene they didn't spend the money to refine the CGI.

How much money does CGI cost these days? Has the costs dropped since technology has advanced, or the opposite?

Just curious. Of all the random podcasts and informational series I’ve watched, I’ve never caught anything on this topic.

Its easier to find people who work in digital character creation and cgi now as its become more prominent, but if you want the best its still expensive, and Disney hires the best.

They've gotten at least one visual effects nomination in nine of the last 12 years since the first Iron Man movie in 2008 (but have never won).
