And we haven't even mentioned other employees or nighttime cleaning crews that could knock something over...

You can also keep your fancy office windows by getting uv protective film to put over the windows (or cough up for windows that completely block uv light, film cheaper :P). This is usually a good idea because sunlight will fade everything not just statues (rugs, etc even floors and walls in the long run). Check to see if your film will also help with heat as that isn't good for statues either and sunlight will heat them up (and their surroundings raising the ambient temperature).

Also be careful with offices as most office buildings shut down their AC during off hours (hella expensive to run and nobody there) causing it to get very hot during the summer.

The view, and displaying art that you value, are fairly mutually exclusive though. So everyone's right - unless the art is disposable to you.
I know and I was so psyched. My old office was in a windowless room in a basement. I work from home a lot so this was going to be a glorious moment. Now I'm all paranoid about my statues lol

Same here. I have a couple of those mini bobble heads and a Batman that came as a lid topper for a movie theatre drink.

get UV filter film for your window. or you can display it without the film and when it starts to fade just repaint it. or if you don't want to repaint it just buy a new one. problem solved.
