Cool Vintage Toy commercials

Hey everyone,

Here's a commercial that is so cool on so many levels,

first off, you have the voice of the announcer which I'm sure many will recognize

secondly, watch the kid after Skeletor blasts the figure he is using! Haha, priceless!

Then of course how cool is the Skeletor figure with a dragon/water gun armor? I'd get a statue of that in a second!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_H8JFsAfZY

But, we're just getting started!!!!

the fourth reason this commercial rules is because the kid that froze is actually the boy actor from "Small Wonder" the TV show.

Then another reason this commercial rules, is the music! DRA-GON-BLASTER!

Finally, the voice that the kid makes who is holding Roboto is hysterical.

Enjoy, and if you do, comment! Don't make me turn this thread around dammit!

90 people viewed this video clip and then froze solid in the air before they could reply to the OP.

Sheeeit, 'Clone; I gotcho back, Son.

I remember that commercial.

Hard to forget the "Dragon Blaster" song in the beginning.

.. and yeah, the frozen kid's hilarious.

Kids that age these days would be like "an action figure with a water gun? Lame!" The good ol' days rocked.

You da' man Ryan!

I love how the kid freezes for about 20 seconds. lol

One of the things I love about vintage toy commercials is how completely unrealistic the environment that the kids are playing in is, like in this case they are playing on this professionally designed plateau that is perfectly lit from above, looks like it probably cost at least 4000 dollars to make. Surprised they don't have dry ice coming from somewhere too.

like for example:

another one of my favorite vintage toy commercials, this one is the Alien 12 inch figure from Kenner.
