Can't they just add a light up?

I don't know if I'm in the minority or not, but I hate light up features--unless they're plugged into an outlet. I don't feel like removing the head and flicking a switch every single time I want to see it light up. At least if it's connected to an outlet you can turn it on and off via a smart outlet.

Plus, if you leave in the batteries, they'll EVENTUALLY corrode (though it would take a long time) inside the statue. No thanks.

XM's Cyclops is nice because they offer it--but it looks great without the feature. Still, I'm happy Sideshow didn't include any gimmicks.

I'm glad I sold my first cyclops away for 650-700.00 back 2 years ago. Now we probably cant get 300.00 for it.

youre not, id say its a pretty even split on liking / not liking them. personally i can do without them, just make something look great without gimmicks imo

My only gripe about lights is if they stop working. I’ve seen too many cases where the lights stop and it’s nothing the owner did to cause that, but if they want to sell on the aftermarket they‘ll make less money.

Other than that sometimes they look cool but most of the time seem unnecessary.

Light up features are a stupid waste of resources. I want a statue, not a toy.

Don't like light up features at all. They get used once and then we run into battery leaks, and when the light goes dead from long displays, or long storage. It will then loose half it's value and be considered a damaged statue.
