And Re: feet, sometimes I feel like I need to draw every figure top to bottom to dispell the whole can't draw feet thing, but a lot of times drawing all the way to the feet limits the size of the figure that I can draw on the page, and I want to fill the shot more if I can. I guess it's a question of taste. There's only so much image area, and would you rather have a larger figure, or somewhat smaller, but with feet? Maybe I should ask that every time, I don't know. Anyway, especially for covers and shots like that, I like to have the characters larger than life, filling the page. In issue two of Ultimatum, I drew Carol Danvers full figure with feet, and in the back of my mind I think I approached it that way for that reason. When the book came out everyone complained that her boobs were too big, and that she shouldn't have guns.

Joefxit: I think I go and read Newsarama and CBR sometimes as self torture. It's there, I know it's there, but I can't help but look. It's just cultural on those boards that big boobs are a terrible thing. Hehe, to me that's like hating dessert, but what do I know. I can see that some people think that it's demeaning to women, but this is superhero comics where EVERYONE is larger than life!
