Thursday is leg day in Smallville.
Usual method: dark undercoat, white highlights, base coat, reinforce shadows, pop the highlights. Detail shadow areas with black pastels. Pearl clear finish and tamed down a bit with matte varnish. Trunks up next.
FYI my phone's camera is like x-ray vision, it exaggerates all the brightness and highlights.

I don't understand why but i can't see your pics on my home computer... I realised i can see them on my office computer though... may be my virus program does a trick but i am really not sure...

Shaping up nicely. I know I have said this before but I really appreciate you showing the process and how you do it step by step.

Phase one complete, now I can assemble the lower half of the body. Now the real fun begins!

Starting work on the upper half of the body...primed my skin tones, puttied the arm seams and started the shadowcoat on the torsos, got the first coat down on the chest emblems, and worked on the bust logos. Still needs primer on the two capes and the bird... saving them for last. Haven't touched the bust base yet LOL

Do You use a 4 needle in the airbrush for the large areas ?

I pretty much stick to the standard .35mm for most of my work except for really fine detail, then I'll switch to.20mm. Taking the needle guard off helps too.

For larger areas, sometimes I'll just cheat and back the needle out of the cup and lock it down so just pressing the button gives me full power, and back the airbrush away from the surface a little more.
