I personally love this, and won't hesitate to pick it up.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

My data drop is based on the amount of information available to everyone... because internet.

I'm 90% sure the size desicion was made to cut the price in half and the price was cut in half to double the sales.

I was underwhelmed by the full reveal. I would have rather it be the same size as the previous but I'm also not crazy about the base.
There is just something about orange paint I don't like. I was also hoping for options without the effects.

I still think it looks great and while the costume is a little busy it's also very intricate. I also like the pose and think it's very powerful.

He's neck and neck with Power Girl on who will win my points but then there will be Doom!

Instead of being cryptic, why not just state how you came up with that number? It would make a lot more sense than relying with "because internet" every time.

Because the price is cut in half, that doesn't mean sales will double.

That's really not how things work...

Sorry I'm not trying to be rude, but it often comes across that way.

Because I like to assume people know where to get information when they look for it. So Sideshow website has a sort for best selling items and filter for showing only Maquettes and Premium Formats.

Of course it doesn't Always work that way but I'm sure With this piece were not too far off. Compare the ES of Silver Surfer which was also universally hated to the other $1200 Maquettes and the ES way more than double. Actually it is exactly 5 times bigger.

Has anybody put this guy near Thanos to see what it looks like?

And who cares if they have to make other molds when they could charge at least $500+ more per piece is his scale was better?

Did some looking - Colossus is 24”, Juggernaut is 27.5”, Darkseid is 24”, Surfer is 24.5”. So even if justifications can be made about “molds”, “shipping” excuses - what the excuse on price for this being minuscule with no swap-outs?

I still believe that this is a good piece as a stand only display. I think to display him next to another character would not be a look. Especially those that know better about the discrepancy.on the scaling side of things.

The Thanos MAQ is actually closer to 1/3 scale. Big G will look smallish next to him.
