Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reboot

Looks like they're rebooting Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, instead of a comedy it will be more of a drama but it will follow the basic story line of the old TV show... The trailer looks really good... Peacock (NBC Streaming) ordered 2 seasons..

It could be good, but I don't know man...I still think there's things you just don't touch.

I never watched the original one but I do like the fact that they are changing it up some and I am sure that it will be very topical with the current climate.

I am sure that we will see Janet Hubert (the first Aunt Viv) will bring up her beef with Will Smith once again because the this reboot.

I like the fact they're changing it up, rather than just trying to copy the silliness of the original.

Though you say it's a TV show, but the trailer calls it a film.

I loved this show so much as a kid. There were some serious moments back then. I remember crying when Will said to Uncle Phil about his Dad "How come he don't want me?"

I went and hugged my own Dad after watching that.

Great show. I watched it too. I can still remember certain lines of the theme song.

The trailer was created as a pitch to the networks to try and get one of them to pick it up... Basically the guy hired all these actors to just make a trailer to send out to everyone... They haven't filmed any episodes yet and the cast could change... Peacock just picked it up recently and ordered 2 seasons...
